I would rather loose the 10mb upload than have stm on the 50mb connection.

Where does it say that then, or is that just a guess.

i think dei5el mean's it has a poll for 50meggers.

So like, would we rather virgin placed an stm on 50meg, but we gain a 10mb upload speed.

or

would we rather virgin media left 50meg as it is at the moment, stm free.

(and in this poll you can't have 10mb upload, and no stm in place. So it's either 1 or the other).

As long as the stm wasn't somthing perfectic, i'd rather have the 10meg upload. or if there was the option to pay a bit more for 10meg, as long as its only a small price i would.

I'd take 50Mbps with 10Mbps upload and STM. I do fine with 10Mbps down so far (more would be nicer) so as long as the speed is no lower than 10Mbps when STM'ed for download then I'm fine. And I guess they will keep it 75% throttle on the STM so it would be 2.5Mbps upload. I'd still be happy :) More than happy infact, I'd be extatic :D

I'll take the 50/10 or alternatively pay extra to go from 50/not much to 50/10.

Bandwidth is always needed, and for many people the uses are legal, we don't want to have to have dinner while we upload our photos to a website, or backup our family album to a webserver...

Well the 50Mbit release has hopefully paved the way for some interesting times ahead.

I just upgraded to 50MB purely for the upload. Its essential in fast paced internet games. 10MB upload would be fantastic!:clap:

Here is to hoping VM will start getting their BB offerings to the ratio of at least 5:1
