Upload speeds in general

Now theres been a lot of roumers circulating over the 50mb upload being increased to 2.5mb at the end of the 50mb roll out plan.

Do u think if this happens they will also incrase the 20mb to say 1.2mb?

Rumour has it that current upload speeds will be doubled on all but the 2Mbps tier (which isn't sold anymore but some people are still on it). No confirmation at all though.

Many rumours but we will see when the roll out is done can't be long now.

Just to play devils advocate here, but what are the chances that VM does double everybody's upload speed, but then in the next breath while we are all singing their praises they introduce one of the even more severe stm's that are currently being tested in Aldershot, Preston.?
Just a thought.

All rumour, well, as far as those not involved know. Frankly given the issues my local area has maintaining the present upstream capacity might be for the best if it doesn't go up (I can't believe I just said that...)

If you're in one of the C+W LLU areas you already get a better upload speed than everyone on cable apart from the 50M customers.
