Which is the time and date it was installed :-)
Had 10 T3 timeouts according to the other link.
Been up since Mon Jun 29 12:41:39 with 30 T3 timeouts
Internet's running perfectly here and I always get 50mb
Have noticed though that my downstream power levels have gone down by 3 from about +5.20 dBmv to my now steady 2.30 roughly. Since that's happened webpage loading has been a lot more responsive :)
My upstream averages 35.00 dBmv.

amfuller I highly suggest you filter out the CM-MAC:numbers part, that shouldn't be shared.

Shouldn't make any odds if by some miracle Virgin get their act together regarding security on their network, I know of one operator whose modem and client MACs are part of DNS.
Does assume Virgin getting their act together mind.
Thanks for the news so far gents.
Curious as to why you want it and what it tells you. Way out of my league but a simple few words would help :-)

I wanted to know to compare it to my own and see if I was abnormally high - I am.
T3 timeout is when your modem sends a message to Virgin's network which is does periodically to inform that it's still there and also wants to know if it needs to change its' transmit power. If it doesn't receive a response to this message from the Virgin network it counts up the T3 timer and the process repeats. It indicates a sub-optimal upstream path. The odd one is to be expected but them counting up too much is bad.

Fri Jul 10 08:31:45 2009 Fri Jul 10 08:31:45 2009 Notice (6) SW download Successful - Via Config file
This looks like it was since the install on Friday (time is showing as 1 hour earlier than it really was - must by DST)
T3 Timeouts 31
Is that a problem?
Modem has been online since Friday 10th July which is when I had my 50Mb install.
I have had just 3 T3 timeouts, which is certainly a lot less than Uniplan and he is in the same town as myself.

Ah forgot this. Thanks for the input all, there are network issues in this local area which cause my instability and one of the symptoms is T3s.

SNR sucks BB :(
*Nods* Check out how flappy my modem has been today.
Ooo 17 T3s in 25 minutes, and some T4s earlier which forced me to reboot the modem. I'll start a sweepstake on how long before I fall offline :D

Coo. thanks to this thread, I've just noticed that my config file is now a string of gibberish (It used to be a plain text filename as above).

Just curious to know if it is possible to know about the T3 timeouts on other cable modems such as, Ambit 256, Motorola, etc. I tried to see if that information was available with my current Ambit 256, no avail.
The only thing that I could find out that I suspect that could be relating to T3 (I could be wrong here) is this: Fec Error Correction (T) which is showing on my Ambit 256's upstream burst section.

Alias, I was wrong, it appears that only 50meg users can see the Timeout errors on thier 50Mbit cable modem.
