Tick light keeps flashing [Archive]

the tick light keeps flashing, im in the M8 area.

If its the tick light on modem that would be the "Ready" light.

If it's the tick light on the Netgear router, that may mean there's a pin or something stuck in the reset hole

I wonder if the READYlight is normal to flash now?

Ever since my exchange was upgraded to QAM256 the ready light has constantly flashed.

On my VM Cable modem.

My internet works fine with no speed issues, Ive tried rebooting but the ready light always flashes now?

What model is the modem as it should not flash whatsoever.

Ive have the same problem on the 50 meg modem the ready light keeps on flashing and the modem keeps on going off line ,I spoke to 50 meg tech support and they have said there is a problem with the modem and I have tech coming out to take a look at it for me.

But you did the right thing and one of my colleagues booked an engineer, was that the only problem the ready light flashing.

No its causing overall stability issues and I dont think its locking on properly the 50 meg guy said I need a tech to be sent out so Iam happy with there advice,and as you have said there ready light so not be going on and off like that anyway.

The tick on the 50Mb modems shouldn't flash if it is then it means its not locking on to the network.
