To answer your question yes I have. Especially on COD games for some strange reason. Part of the reason I dont game online much on my PC anymore. Used to play all the time and had a great connection. One day it just went poor but fine for downloading, surfing etc etc.

Had an engineer out who said he changed the sig level's. Looked after he went but he had not. Couldn't be bothered to keep going back and forth so just gave up :(

cool, I heard they can change your path or something to improve ping times. Any idea if this is true? My ping times are worse on cable than thro bt line

if you do a speedtest on ps3 its very jumpy and spikes up sometimes to these figures. on laptop its usually 35-45 Mb/s

There are other clients you can use to read newsgroups but if you have IE then you should have outlook express anyway. What windows(assuming you are using windows) and what web browser are you using ?

no one ever replied to that thread on newsgroup but my broadband has stabled a fair bit now. once in a blue moon its really bad and laggy and dont let people join my lobby on a game, leave it for a day tho and its ok again.

Out of interest what are your pings like? Mine were diabolical until the upgrade to DOCSIS 1.1 and now I'm getting an average of 13ms to London which I'm more than happy with.

on average my pings are about 33ms which is ok although when I was with BE I would get 10ms constantly.
