hi all, i recently had my speed upgraded to 20mb the technician came out today as he was also installing a v+ box, he told me that my internet speed will automatically upgrade itself to 20mb however its been hours now and nothing has updated and my connection is still at 2mb i have reset my modem and pulled out the power cable for 30 seconds but still nothing has updated. Im just wondering on what to do if nothing happens. if anyone can help me on this i will greatly appriciate it.

It should be virtually straight away, but just a thought did you order XL broadband or an XL package as they maybe different.

Ive been a customer with Ntl/Virgin for 5-6 years, they sent me a letter asking if i would like to upgrade to a v+ box and a 20mb connection for a good price so i took the offer, the engineer told me that our internet connection speed should automatically update itself today.

the speed should upgrade automatically, there is nothing we can do out in the field on speed upgrades... someone at CC isn't doing their job properly...

sometimes the change over doesn't happen until the proper upgrade date... techs may come out to change a box a few days earlier
