Hello, I've recently been upgraded as part of the 2Mb -> 10Mb. This is probably my second week. Should I be reaching close to 10Mb speeds at this time, or will they be rolled out at a later date when everyone on 2mb has been gifted the extra few Mbs? Upload and throttled speeds appear to be bang on.

Here are the figures copy and pasted from my modem's admin pages.

Downstream Lock : Locked
Downstream Frequency : 402750000 Hz
Downstream Modulation : 256 QAM
Downstream Receive Power Level : -1.14 dBmv
Downstream SNR : 34.19 dB
Upstream Frequency : 25800000 Hz
Upstream Transmit Power Level : 51.50 dBmv
Network Access : Enabled
Maximum Downstream Data Rate : 10242000 bps
Maximum Upstream Data Rate : 514000 bps
Maximum Number of CPEs : 1
Software Upgrade File Name : ntlhm120_ntl0003.cpr
Software Upgrade AdminStatus : allowProvisioningUpgrade
Software Upgrade OperStatus : failed

Hopefully that's all of them.

NP19, previously NTL, Ambit 120 vintage 2003 I believe, Buffalo Airstation Turbo G with Tomato, QOS disabled and no ridiculous settings that I can see.

Yep, I've tried concurrent large downloads from that game files directory.

Thanks

Have you tried connecting the modem directly to your PC?

Yep, just gave this a shot and there's no change.

OK other than that I would say your power levels are a bit out, mainly your upstream being too high but I'm not that well versed on these things so I'm sure someone will either confirm my suspicion or correct me :)

No the levels are fine, your modem is quite old and may need replacing.
