I'm in Renfrewshire. No broadband from 12:30pm to 8pm today.

Very likely to have been an area issue but you could post your power level and we can check them for you.

Post what modem you have and your power levels from your config pages of your modem. The should be a sticker on the bottom saying what model.

If using an Ambit modem please click here

What I want you to post is the Downstream power levels including the SNR and the Upstream power levels for me thanks.

My broadband is back on again. I have a blue NTL:250 cable modem E08C007

The modem page currently shows this:

Upstream transmit Power Level : 54.5 dBmV

Downstream Receive Power Level : -3.1 dBmV
Downstream SNR : 41.1 dB

Your power levels are fine so must have been just a local issue.

Broadband OFF again Friday 11th July and today 12th July for 1-3 hours. It's always around 4:30pm to 8pm.

You need to call Tech Support to find out what is causing the problem.
