Hi,

I have been having some router issues today with it rebooting it self, that another story.

I just noticed that the only lights on the 50mb modem was the power light and the sync light all other lights were out and it was working, so download, upstream was not flashing and the ethernet light wasn't on.

I just rebooted and all the lights are back on.

Is there anything to worry about?

Can I ask, how much does your 50Mb package cost per month? I see you are an ex-NTL customer. Kinda like me only I'm ex-Telewest.

I am not sure haven't got a bill to hand.
Last bill was around £59 and for 50mb, phone line, phone calls and vat.

So did you sign up as a new customer or were you just switched automatically to Virgin?

I was moved over to it, but VM needs to send a tech out with the modem, you maybe charged for that, I was charge £80 setup at the time, but think it now £50 setup.

You will have to sign up for a new 12 month contract.

Ok thanks. They seem to be wanting £50 for me to go from 20Mb to 50Mb.

Post your power levels from your config pages of your modem.

If using any other modem click here

What I want you to post is the Downstream power levels including the RXMER and the Upstream power levels for me thanks.

DO NOT POST YOUR MAC ADDRESS OR SERIAL NUMBER

Your power levels are still fine as long as you are getting good speeds do not worry Garry.
