Afternoon All :)
Been playing online poker online for a few years through Ladbrooks, but fancy a change.
Anybody using any of the online poker sites? Which ones do you prefer? Why?
What are the good points and bad points of the sites that you've used?
Thanks :)
Suprised actually that the site hasn't set up it's own room in a free poker site (prehaps yahoo..etc...) I wouldn't say no to few nights playing texas holdem with the members..
Shall I look into it??
(obviously one played without money)

I'd be up for that, I really enjoy Poker and don't get to play as often as I'd like :)
Keep trying to get my mates to play.....for some reason though none of them are interested ;) :D

Not sure how much general interest we'd get though (or how easy it would be to get more than a couple of people on at a time).....
We're mainly a UK forum so night-times shoud be easy to have a table full...
Perhaps if anyone's interested they could reply to this thread?
Mugs game!!
Put your spare cash in those tins at the supermarkets Rob! ;):)
(One of my sons friends won through to a casino In Vegas, all expenses paid, that was from a online site, I will ask him which))
Mugs game!!
The games not the fault it's the people who bet on it.. one of the reasons as to why I only play the free tables :)
I dont gamble at all now, in my past life I did do the roulettte wheels, but very rarely.
Bet £50 quid on black once, it came up, I walked away, and we spent it all in the bar!
Oh what fun........................

I have a friend who quit work and now plays online poker full time. Ladbrokes is one of his main sites. A few weeks ago he won about $15,000. He's won all kinds of other weird things too, invitations to private functions, live game entries, shares in racehorses etc.

I'm just trying Pokerstars at the moment, don't really like the interface though :(

Me either. I much prefer the PKR interface.
Hell, even the Zynga Poker on facebook is better than pokerstars

Part of the problem I'm having is that I'm trying to run the Windows clients in Ubuntu.....not all of them like that very much :erm:
