I have just rang customer services and have been told that I would have to subscribe to this service at a cost of £2 per month, now I thought that a charge was made on each call using ring back as I have used it before ?

Phone tariff available here (http://allyours.virginmedia.com/pdf/002697_Residential_Cable_Phonebook_1_June_V3.pdf) for residential customers.
It depends on your original area it seems

ex-NTL is 29.36p per shot.

I think I would keep pressing redial to save the 30p a pop!

Most of which probably don't support ringback as they will be on 0844 numbers ;)
