Xbox Live issue [Archive]

Hey guys,

Just to let you all know, there seems to be a problem with Xbox Live today - but it's not an issue with your ISP - there seems to be something going on at Microsoft's end.

You'll probably see an error like "port 3074 is blocked".

We haven't had any updates on what's happening, but we're getting a lot of calls regarding it - so I'd just thought I'd let you know - just in case :)

Just checked it now and apparently it now states its all up and running again.

Yea it's been back up for awhile now however Gears 2 matchmaking is taking sometime

Theres been a couple of issues joining MP games in Bad Company so its not quite all there yet

Why would that have any impact on a fault with Xbox.

because they will have prob have to make changes to the Live service!
