UBR 08 in Edinburgh is OK usual oversubscribed day speed of about 10 Mb on 20Mb XL:monkey:

Thanks, I did a small tweak, and it looks like there are other factors why the speed was being reported incorrectly.

Is there reason why I get better speed test results from London than I did from Manchester which is much nearer?

Speedtests are not to be believed!
Manchester states I can get a whopping 2.05Mb/s from my 20Mb/s connection (10%) and London says I can get 2.75Mb/s
DUMeter on my machine says http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e266/solcuerda/20.gif when pulling large files from different servers at the same time.

Web-based speedtests are useless :p:

I can't complain about my 10meg speed according to this result.

Keep up the good work VM. ;)

Best thing for you to do is to report it to the support team, they will check out your signal properly and inform you if there are problems.

Perhaps you should have started a new thread as this was for the Edinburgh area.
