Hey guys,

Im in need of a cassette player, so that when my percussion tutor records tracks and things he wants me to practice I can then bring the tape home and play it back. From what I have seen they cheapest one on Argos is about £18.00, but is also capable of playing CD's when all I really need is one that will play tapes/ Oh and I tried looking on eBay as well

Even If I buy the one at £18.00 for now, then when he starts recording onto CD's I can sell it and just use my PC

check out your local charity shops. nobody uses cassettes anymore and there are often players in our locals for pennies.

Hey, I use mine all the time when I'm working. You can buy really cheap audio books on cassettes now that the trendy people buy them in more 21st century formats. :D

i use a cassette player every day ;)

edit - come to think of it. If you (Madgaer) got in touch with your local sight charity as I suggested in the moans/hates thread they should get you in touch with wireless for the blind (and no you don't need to be blind ;)) who supply a free cassette player / recorder for many people with a sight problem. Worth seeing if you qualify for one :tu:

I reckon you'd get one for about 20p at a car boot sale!
