One question? If the recycling firm that donated it are using it - how did she (a)make the windscreen look like that or (b)how can the firm using it see out of the windows?

Very novel. Maybe Porsche should adopt a similar paint job for the ugly Cayenne.. :)

The concept is sometimes the hardest part of a piece of work and she has carried it through very well. A very talented artist and I would be interested in seeing more of her work.

Do you realise that Volkswagen/Audi own Skoda and many of their cars are based on or built in Skoda factories and especially some mid ranged Audi's just check out the VIN plate for country of manufacture.

Her skills are fantastic and she should have brilliant future.

Some Skodas are amazing to drive. Someone I know who is a serious petrolhead says his old Fabia VRS is the best car he's had in 20-odd years of driving.

I'd quite happily have a Skoda Octavia VXR, although just wouldn't want the Skoda badge on front.

Indeed. I have it on good authority (from someone who was working with Volkswagon at the time they bought out Skoda) that the first thing VW did when they bought out Skoda was to train the workers and refit the factories up to VW standards of engineering. They must have done something right, Skoda have won a lot of rallies since VW took over.

As I said earlier some AUDI's are now built in Skoda factories.

That may be the case but the only experience of Skoda's I have personally had is something like this.

I brought one for £50 back in the mid eighties and it was a total heap even though it was fairly new. Couldnt get it over 50 with a tail wind and down hill, thats how I remember Skoda's ;)

My parents have a Skoda Felicia - I can find little (if any) difference to my mate's VW Polo of the same age.

That is because the Polo was based on the Felicia.
