Hello I am new here!
I am VM customer for about 2 years now, but 2day (happened 4 the first time) i am having problem with a download (not the speed, but the service). What I mean by that is, that download constantly freezes, upload is fine, lets say, i am downloading something, leds on modem are blinking but every 5-6 secs DL diod stops, and the there is no download service :( after 2 sec its back again, anyone having same problem as i do??

i have 2 MB/S connection

Post your signal levels that might help some people on here as i don't really understand them.

I'm also having this problem. How do I post obtain the power levels? (sorry newbie)

Oops and he got rid of it :P

192.168.100.1

Username and password: root

Upstream signal level from the Upstream section
Downstream signal level and SNR from the Downstream section

Dont put any mac addresses or serial numbers on here.

Post what modem you have and your power levels from your config pages of your modem. The should be a sticker on the bottom saying what model.

Open a browser and in the address bar put or click the link > http://192.168.100.1/ the password and username are both root if required.

What I want you to post is the Downstream power levels including the SNR and the Upstream power levels for me thanks.

DO NOT POST YOUR MAC ADDRESS OR SERIAL NUMBER

A 2Mb EX-NTL customer power levels are within parameters SNR low but not borderline.

Are you on a router if so can you try a direct connection.

How about the configs broadbandings.
