Hi,

As per other posts on Think Broadband check the Wiki pages for your torrent client, it will give you some advice on how to optimise the client for your operating system.

the long and short of it is this. Limit you max global connections to 250, when downloading, limit your upload speed to 60k. When you are only seeding cap it to 160k so you are uploading at a reasonable speed whilst leaving enough bandwidth to do other stuff with.

If you use Utorrent click options choose speed guide and set it to "xx/1Mbit" and you should be good to go.

i don't use torrents, and i'm surprised no one has mentioned how 'hot' it's getting, i switched to newsgroups a few months ago and will never go back to torrents.

Thats what I use still leaves 100+Kb/s to game or surf the web.

Not at the moment, but it will, its been confirmed that it will happen at some point after the roll out is finished.

Very true but limits are not yet confirmed or been leaked with rumours, don't think the limits will be that high.

I don't see the point of 50Mbps if they can't supply it 24/7, or any speed for that matter :) I'm saying nothing else though, plenty of other topics to argue that out.
