Hi,

I've just received the 'Letter' from RB about the up coming 'Free' upgrade, but could someone tell me if our ntl:home 120 modem will support the 10MB ??

Cheers

As I am aware the 120 can do 10mb if it can't we can order you a new modem free.

Thanks BBK, is there any difference from requesting an upgrade today to 10MB or waiting for the upgrade to come to you ??

You can only register for the upgrade from May Virgin will be sending out info to all customers on how they do this.

I know about the upgrades for May, but whats the difference to getting the 10MB upgrade now and starting to pay the £20 now and waiting for 2 months and then starting to pay the £20 for 10MB ??

Different traffic managment levels and access to PC Guard total (and possibly some differences in the 'My Stuff' stuff)

Basic my stuff is included on the M tier 10Mb so the only difference is the STM levels.

Would you lock yourself in a new 12 month contract?

Yes, if you request it now, you will get it now.

Waiting for the upgrade could mean wating until sometime during the summer.

However, yes, requesting a BB L upgrade is likely to restart the contract

If you wait for the upgrade no new contract if you upgrade now then as Ben said you will normally start a new contract all depends on what deal you currently have, just call up to ask what price it would be as the prices can vary depending on what package you have.
