Help with netgear wgr614 router VPN problem

I'm having problems with my Netgear WGR614 router I cant seem to use my work VPN connection. When I connect my laptop straight through using just the virgin modem it works fine. Does anyone else have any similar issues?

Not here. Received and set up the same (VM) router yesterday. No problems at all with it - including VPN for office. Has your VPN worked with any router before, or has it only been direct through cable modem?

I had my work VPN working through my old Sky setup and it was fine. It just seems to be the new router im thinking it might be a firmware issue as netgear say on there site that that model has VPN problems

Netgears own site do not recommend the WGR614 for VOIP so you may or may not get it working.
