As I understand it VM use the Indian tech support callcentre as an 'overspill' when call levels are high.

Can anyone tell me the best times of the day to call in order to avoid getting through to India?

I would say shortly after 8:00 am is generally best, but it is hard to predict.

I always thought around half 9 would be best but I've been in the queue for half an hour now and it's not looking good :(

OK well after being in the queue for 49 minutes I eventually hung up as I've received an offer of help from someone on the site.

It comes to something though when it takes almost an hour to get through to tech support that early in the day. Remind me of the good old days of NTL's free dial-up service :D

the virgin BB tech support line is free if you have a VM phone line, call 150

BB tech support is on 151 (along with TV & Telco Faults), and the Swansea callcenter is quietest between midday & 4pm (unless there is a major outage).
