Hi all,

I Haven't used this forum before but my fried informs me you lot are a pretty useful bunch and recommended I ask your advice... Has anybody here ever used the services of this payday loan company or any similar company for that matter, I don't think that they are alone in what they are offering? I need £200 like yesterday can't come up with a better idea...

Thanks for any advice,

simon

They'll crease you with interest mate, they need proof of address, proof of income, a utility bill etc etc. They'll most likely charge you £350 for the pleasure of using their services.

Just seen the site. The bit that says 'Typical APR 1845%' is a bit worrying. At least they are up front about it.

I had serious problems years ago after marriage break up.I went for a payday loan mate,it seemed the only thing I could do.TRUST ME they will want to give you much more than £200,I was so desparate I took £500,which went in a week. They will bleed you dry mate
Suggestions. If you only need 200 have you approached family and friends? If not swallow your pride and ask for help.
If it's a debt or something like that or your being hassled for money, get in touch with citizen's advice asap, they can do a lot,You say you need it like yesterday, well it's today now that company is your very and extreme last resort.

I'm assuming as a first post this isn't a sad attempt at spamming?
Oh and I wouldn't touch a company like that with a barge pole. :)

Have a look at the following links and see if there is a Credit Union that you could contact.

Simon, welcome to the forum. As we do not allow Spam on this forum, I have removed the name (and link) to the loan company from your post. However, this thread could be a geniune cry for help, and could be helpful to other people as well, so I will take no further action at this stage.

My own personal belief is that these payday loan companies are a legal form of scam (and the interest rates they advertise would seem to back that up) and you would be better off going to one of the credit unions above, or you may be entitled to benefits or a loan from the Government http://www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk/JCP/Customers/WorkingAgeBenefits/Dev_008613.xml.html

ask locally for recommendations if you really need a loan. check newsagents as they may have had companies advertise in their windows.

I know the interest is horrific, but sometimes needs must. I had to get a loan recently so I know I could go to the dentist if I really need to (£198 top band nhs treatment, and yes that is subsidised!) ;)

Good god found this apr on quickquid

Depending on the loan term, typical APRs will range from 1351.7% to 9889.3%.

I know loan sharks who offer a better APR than that.

If you need money go cap in hand to your rellies, dont use these type's of firm, hell take your computer to cash converters.
