I've lookd about the forums and seen a few issues regarding my same modem but none like mine so I thought I'd post.

Basically; My Virgin Media internet seems to have a mind of its own and randomally decides to go slow, or work totally fine.
Example: 5 minutes ago I could not load any posts on this website at all, but I could load main pages "google.com , youtube etc..." but I could not load any sub-pages (eg google searches, cable forum posts)
This is only a recent issue and I havent not manually changed anything. I personally think the cause is the fact I often switch my modem on / off to connect my PS3 online, but many friends say that isnt the cause (?).
My PS3, Ventrillo, and IRC have no connection issues, it only seems web browsing does. ('ve tried 3 browsers, firefox, ie, opera, all same issues) so I'm not entirelly sure of how to resolve this.
So, I can use my ps3 fine, but after re-plugging my cables into my PC, it works ok for about 5 minutes then everything goes slow [except vent, irc] and it then works / doesnt work randomally
I have re-started my modem but that only seems to be a temporary solution. Maybe I'm re-plugging my cables in without restarting my computer but that wasnt such an issue before.
If it helps, I use a E08C007 250 Modem. Also it's not my package, just the fact the internet seems to go slow / normal randomally.
Any help is appreciated
