Hi guys

What are the best times to download stuff so my speeds don't get capped? as soon as i download about 2gb my speed drops right off.

Not sure of the GB limits or what times it all kicks in. :confused:

10meg i'm on and thanks for the times i'll do that! i don't DL loads anyway just a pain when you want to get something now and again you get a speed cap and the last bit takes ages. :(

At 10Mbit, if you download during the day (and you hit full whack) you'll hit STM in about 20 minutes to half an hour. And then you'll be throttled from there on in. At least with the new trials they're running, you get the limiters off at 2300.

Yea! I upgraded to the 10Meg thinking I would get that, yet the fastest speed I have ever reached was 6Meg and the norm is around 4Meg?
Its all a bit disappointing really?

You can download Gosling's goal at Goodison anytime just incase ITV ruined your watching pleasure, without fear of being capped - you will be able to watch it over and over many times!!

What network setup are you using? Assuming the modem is working properly, there are quite a few other bits that could resolve that and get you to the 10meg.
