Hi all. :)
I'm a virgin :D when it comes to starting threads, but this one has been nagging me for weeks now.
Any of the "View Details" links on the BB product page (http://allyours.virginmedia.com/websales/service.do?id=2) (which is for standalone, I guess) take you to a page that includes:
"Broadband Extras - over £300 worth of free online stuff every year; includes photo prints, games and lots more"
"Over £300" is what they've been touting for months, at least. Now there used to be a "What's this?" link on the BB Extras homepage (http://www.virginmedia.com/broadbandextras/) to a breakdown which added up to a shade under £300 a year (Sonic = £2.55 p/m, etc.), but here's the things.
1. The "What's this" link is now suspiciously missing :erm:
2. Back at the "View Details" link, there's also:
"loads of exclusive content worth over £35 a month"
under "Includes".
Now I'm no maths whizz, but even I know that over £35/month = over four hundred per year. So ... what's that about basically?
Of course, the real question is ... is BB Extras only actually worth the total of the services that one can get to work at any given time? :D
TIA,
Andy
