Listening to bbc radio over internet

When i listen to bbc radio live on the pc the sound will disappear then come back a few minutes later, is this a problem with my connection or the computer, i never used to have this problem, ive got another pc and the same thing happens again, is it possible for me to find out if it is the connection, i listen to other radio stations(non bbc) and i dont have the same issue

ive not tried it with no other programs running but ill try it now,

it seems to be better when i only have firefox open and not msn and other programs
