I'm in the Coventry area and normally have a good connection and download speed however for about 4 days now it has been utter rubbish. I'm on 20mb. Normally download at 18Mbps but now I am getting 4-7Mbs!! What gives?

Funny that, you would think that a speed test from VM would give good speeds but like you mine was crap too, thought I would try the irish and that was bad so I tried speedtest.net and this came back at full speed.

Your best trying to max out your connection through a usenet service to get a more truer reading.

My speeds are all over the place lately and going down and down,
they say there is a high tdx load on my ubr, which has been going
on since novmember keep getting told different things each time still no date give for the fix tostart or finished , i think they must be doing all the
50 meg work first

Ohh - lovely, just what I'm paying for!!

Thing is that VM tech support on newsgroups say there is NOTHING wrong - UBR fine, modem fine, levels fine, pings fine, tracerts fine. Ive taken router out, tried on different PC's, downloading from different sites (gamefiles, zen test files, newsgroups etc) and it all comes back slow.

WHAT TO DO?!?
