So I want to join sky

Tbh I'm sick of waiting for sports hd which is not going to come for a long long time with virgin. So my question is, how much will it cost to change absolutely everything to sky (ie. tv with all channels, hd box and regular box, max broadband and best telephone deal)? And most importantly, is it worth it, because I'm being quoted £80 a month which is basically what I'm paying for virgin at the moment, but I get hd channels with sky which is what I want.

How close to your exchange are you, do you have a BT line? If you are too far away then you wont hit the max speed on ADSL, and BT charge a fortune to install lines.

I used to have sky a few years ago so yes I have the BT line, and they said on average it should be around 8-16mb as I'm quite close to whatever they use for the internet. So the switch wouldn't be hard at all.
