View Full Version : Virgin Media Problems for 6 Months

Hi Guys, was wondering if anyone could help me out here, as CS at Virgin Media havent a clue!

I have been recieving intermitent packet loss on my virgin media service for over 6 months now. The packet loss generally lasts from 10-60mins when it occurs. It can happen, anywhere from 1-10 times a day. The timing of the packet loss shows no pattern in general and the reason is unclear.

ping tests and tracert tests tell me its a problem with the virginmedia servers - but everytime they run a test on their end when I ring up at the time I experience problems, it always shows up as a perfectly fine stable connection.

I cant think what it is, and am going crazy. Tryin to play online gaming is impossible due to it.

I have tried the usual things restarting the router countless times etc.

Has anyone else in Leeds been experiencing the same sort of problems?

wonder if its a UBR Problem.
