wanting to cancel my broadband

what do i need to do? i have a payment due on the 6th of january, i am no longer in a 12 months contract with them as i have been with virgin media for about 3 years, can i just pay the amount on the 6th and then cancel after that payment?

i can currently no longer afford to have broadband atm due to a financial crisis, would it be easy to get re connected at a later date again?

Just give VM a ring, they'll require 30 days notice but as you pay monthly in advance that won't be a problem
