View Full Version : 50Mbit Traceroute Please

Like it says, could someone on the 50Mbit service supply a traceroute to www.bbc.co.uk

Just to reassure, censoring any of the hops is pointless as they do not give any personally identifiable information of any kind :)

I'm curious as to how stable the latency on the bonded product is.

Ta.

And who ever posts it make sure you do not post your ip address or macc address details :D

Bit confused there, why would a traceroute contain those details? :)

I'm asking for one of these:

C:\Documents and Settings\>tracert www.bbc.co.uk

Tracing route to www.bbc.net.uk [212.58.253.67]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

Common broadbandking, Goffski and josbits2 where's the trace routes tests to bbc.co.uk ???????

You talk about the speed of 50Mb in `area by area true speed test' thread, but how stable is the network or is it that rubbish :).

--------

So much for not posting a cable modem macc eh.. either that or its a p*** take...

fair enough.. the details are not in a tracert but you still went ahead and posted them.

actually looks like ur serial reads "All Eat Da Beef!"

and i do know what a tracert is dude.. i work with them often enough lol, and the only reason i posted that post was because guarenteed it wouldn't just have been a tracert that someone posted.. thankfully you confirmed it for me.

Look here http://www.verio.com/support/documents/view_article.cfm?doc_id=3693 and the address is either bbc.co.uk or www.bbc.co.uk. I've no idea how you copy and paste the display trace route info after its completed though (remember to xx.xxx.xxx.x the first Virgin Media IP address out (2nd hop if router in place)).
