My virgin router says theres a problem with the wireless adapter and loses connection then reconnects but recently it stopped re-connecting all together now its saying the device isnt a virgin broadband device? and when im downloadin a song it will cut out and the connection will drop.

Only just got it a week ago.

Any Help?

Uninstall the Virgin Wireless Manager and allow Windows to manage your wireless connection.

Also try changing the channel the wireless broadcasts on.

Sounds very much like channel issue on the connection, try as above as often the thrid party software causes more problems than anything and changing the channels should lead to a more stable connection.

How you change the channel?

You need to log in to the configuration page of your router.
Go to the wireless settings and you'll see the channel there where you can change it.

It should be on the bottom of the router.

If that doesn't work, it's possible you've changed the password from what it was.
If that's the case and you can't think of it, the only option you may have is to rese the router to factory defaults and running through the setup again.
