Hello everyone

I have Virgin Media 20mbit service and use the Vonage phone service and noticed the calls have started cutting up to the point where they are unusable.

After an hour on the phone to vonage it seems that something is wrong with the routing.. Take a look at my ping statistics to their host..

Ping statistics for 77.73.152.68:
Packets: Sent = 493, Received = 322, Lost = 171
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 22ms, Maximum = 109ms, Average = 65ms

My traceroute..

Not getting any other trouble with my connection. Speedtests are fine. latency is normal. Ideas?

It's not vonage it's someone Virgin peers with I guess but I can't get anyone at virgin to even answer the damn phone :(

Can you try a ping to that host for me too?

Getting the same here tracing to 77.73.152.68 high pings on all the flagtel hops and a trace from tools.virginmedia.com gets no response after hop 6 (UDP packets) so not much use there - might be worth trying to run vonage through a proxy and see if that helps.
