Can anyone validate if 0800 052 0780 is a valid virgin media phone number?

The reason Im asking, is apparently that is the number I need to call for one of the 12 days of christmas offers according to www.virginmediapeople.com, yet it doesn't look like any VM number that Ive ever seen, nor is it listed anywhere on www.virginmedia.com

Add to the fact that the phonenumber is one that isn't listed on VM's website, the fact that virginmediapeople.com is registered by a company in CANADA, makes me feel its... a huge phishing attempt.

It does help if you post the correct link and yes that is a proper number why would you think otherwise?

Correct links as the above link is blind http://www.virginmediapeople.com/12days/ (http://www.virginmediapeople.com/12days/)

or http://www.virginmediapeople.com/12daysxmas/
(http://www.virginmediapeople.com/12days/)

Thank you for confirming. I was cautious because Ive never heard of virginmediapeople and their dns record says its a canadian company.

Anyways, Im now waiting for my upgrade to go through. Yay!

All you're got to do is remember to ring up and cancel before the month is up. Otherwise you'll be charge the extra £7 / month after the free month.

With all the free 2 to 10Mb speed upgrades which are going to happen. I wonder how much it's going to effect the whole VM Christmas surfing experience with all the extra throughput it's going to create on the network.

on in an hour!

theres generally a 'network freeze' for a couple of weeks over the christmas/new year period, but with all the prep work to do on the confirmed 50meg areas i cant see it happening (although a lot of this work may just be ensuring signal levels/signal to noise levels are good on the actual street cabinets) ;)
