The connection is like this all day, everyday.

I'm guessing I will need to call out tech due to the SNR?

Hi, I have edited your post to remove the IP, although it was not your IP it could possibly narrow down your location, your Upstream Transmit Power looks far too high for definite, I think you definitely need to phone TS.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Just an update.

I had Internet protocol version 6 enabled somehow. Anyway, after unchecking it the connection is fantastic now! I guess we're not ready for a new protocol just yet.

Will still call tech and ask about the other problem though.

Tend to find that if you disable IPv6 on some of the newer Vista machines that they connect easier, maybe one of the computer experts could explain why as older Vista machines seem to be OK.

I have IPv6 enabled on my XP box and have no problems. Perhaps it's a Vista quirk. Either way, it'd be a blessing in disguise if ISPs used IPv6 on their equipment and services.

IPv6 from most ISPs is a long way off but would be much better for the consumer when finally the industry norm.;)

Yup, your SNR is rather too low, and your upstream is too high, by the looks of it your using an Ambit 1xx series, which is getting rather long in the tooth and you might want to think about getting it replaced.
