Wife and stepson have just produced the first batch of mince pies made with the shortest of pastry (really, really nice) melt in the mouth YUMMMMMMM!

I can feel myself gaining weight already :D

Unavoidable this time of year al, just relax and enjoy it. Too late to go on a diet before Christmas, could always make that your New Year's resolution lol! Incidentally we only have the shop bought ones, I'm not into baking. Perhaps I can persuade someone to make some for me.;)
