View Full Version : VTRUCK problem
hi, I have just got a new PC & I have been with virgin broadband for several years, but yesterday I made a mistake by trying to install the virgin broadband CD. I have found out now that I should have left the CD alone because my Ethernet connection would automattically hooked up with the internet. I first got a message saying " VTRUCKDbg has stopped working ", I contacted Virgin & after a few Quid they said the problem was resolved. I now get another message " D:\installs\TeraEth\VTruck.exe " & asks me to insert the CDROM so it can find the file. Can anyone please help me to get rid of this message, as I been at this since 08.20 am this morning.
Thanks Mac

Boot installation loop is what you appear to have
The following link should resolve the issue for you
http://help2.virginmedia.com/help/getContent.jspx?page=help_installer_cdloop
click on
Virgin Media Installer Patch
Follow the instructions on the page

I don't know for sure because I have not tried it myself, but I am not sure that the advice given above will work.
It seems to be for the Motive-based Virgin Media installer, whereas VTRUCK errors are more associated with the predecessor Broadjump CD.
If it doesn't work take a look at Vtruck Error on Start Up (http://www.chetnet.co.uk/articles/index.php?page=index_v2&id=33&c=5)
Forget using an old CD, you don't need it after the first registration.
