View Full Version : UBR upgrade not proceeding?

Hello,

In my area I am experiencing some slow speeds during the evenings, I didn't calling tech support as I had seen a maintenance post saying my area will be having a UBR upgrade.

However the slow speeds are still happening on the evening and the maintenance page has not been updated.. so I have no idea if they have been completed or not.

Does anyone know if the following UBR upgrades have been done: http://status-cable.virginmedia.com/vmstatus/maintenanceissue.do?ticket=161008

I would ask on newsgroup support as well and see what they're got to say on the matter.

Surely someone from theses areas must know:

21/10/08:- Barnsley, Dudley, Enfield. 22/10/08:- Dudley, Enfield, Wigan. 23/10/08:-Dudley, Enfield, Wigan. 24/10/08:- Enfield, Wigan.

I would suggest a change in the thread title to something with `Barnsley' in it, try something like `Has Barnsley UBR had it's capacity upgrade or not!' Unless one of VM's staff is going to post with the info regarding the status of the upgrade, you're kind of relying on forum members connected to the Barnsley UBR telling you whether or not the upgrades took place or telling you that they're still having problems as well.

You could get one of the forum mods to change it for you, PM one of them if you want to go down that route.

Sent VM an E-mail, they have got back to me saying we will notify me on the progress of this so they defiantly received.

Barnsley is having an upgrade.. It has been delayed due to some technical difficulties, but from what I have heard it will be underway again in early December
