Hi Everyone,
I was recently upgraded from the 8Mb service to 10Mb. According to Virgin media im part of the top 10% of downloaders (yeah right..) and therefore I've been throttled. Now, I don't do any peer to peer stuff, ie bittorrent and the like, so my upload usage should be very low.
Why, then, Have i been throttled to 2mbit download and 120Kb upload? (15KB upload).
15KB?! I'm sorry, have I gone back in time to the days of ISDN? This is just shocking to be honest and I'm wondering if anyone has any logical reason why my upload has been capped like this?
Seriously Virgin Media, if you can't handle people using their connections to their potential, then why are you trialing even faster connections?
Oh wait, I know....money....
