Knowing that the override companies (e.g. 1899) don't tend to offer as cheap rates for calls from VM phones as they do for BT, can anyone advise on the cheapest ones out there?
I currently use 1899, is there anything cheaper that anyone knows of? Mainly for calling UK mobiles...

Talk anywhere from Virgin Media itself!

You get a bundle of minutes every month and the minutes can be used to call 01,02,03,mobiles,0845,0870 and international numbers. There is no call connection fees to these numbers.

200 minutes and line rental cost: £20 per month
400 minutes and line rental cost: £27 per month
800 minutes and line rental cost: £36 to £40 per month

Furthermore,if you have Virgin Broadband and Virgin TV, you are likely to get a bundle saving discount of £8 per month. Ask a sales rep for details!

By using Talk Anywhere, you are technically paying approx 4p per minute for calling landlines, mobiles, international numbers and even 0845 and 0870 numbers! No call connection fee is added either.

Hope that helps!
