I am receiving mail OK, the is a possibility that during the power outage that mails may have been lost and that is beyond their control.

Emails should trickle through, unless the sender's email provider doesn't use standard redelivery standards.

When did you make your purchase because if it crossed with the National Grid surge that knocked out Virgin then they possibly may have been lost.

You have got problems receiving email from your @blueyonder.co.uk account I presumed so call up the Tech Support team to get them to check if the are any issues with your email, if you use another email client then check with them.

If you ring Tech Support or Quickstart, can you request to be transferred to a UK call centre?

I don't understand, can you elaborate? Everytime I've rung up, I've been put through to an Indian call centre, and I have trouble understanding what they're saying 50% of the time. I don't with UK call centres (different services).

EDIT: Apologies for de-railing the thread.

Was it just your emails down? I lost the entire internet yesterday. Not sure how long for because after 2 hours I had to give up and go to a friends house to use his internet. I tried calling them and it took over an hour to get through to them because their line was blocked with a high volume of calls. When I got through she said there was some kind of nationwide fault.

I have email problems still after 72 hours! Some test emails are not hitting my blueyonder pop box. But my old Nildram account is still receiving same test emails. I have missing emails as well now as the senders have confirmed by phone they sent them but they have not arrived.

This is very poor who does one contact to get the quickest response?
