hi i was speaking to a m8 las night and he was saying he claim money back with a p60 and he gets most of the money he paid on tax and nation insurance he was sayin he gets over 800 pounds back he was saying its becouses hes from another country its that true

All a P60 does is advise the amount you earned & the tax & national insurance paid on those earnings in the previous tax year.

The grounds for being able to claim a rebate for any of the tax & insurance you paid are many & complicated, but, in general, if you are employed & pay tax in the UK on the PAYE scheme there will be no grounds for claiming a rebate.

- i.e. you yourself are unlikely to be able to claim any tax rebate unless you are unemployed for a length of time extending into a new tax year. Claiming rebates of National Insurance is not usually possible if you expect to qualify for a state pension, etc, as far as I know.
