Swop Nynex Phone socket to BT

Hi

Wonder if anyone can help me with this query.
I am currently receiving my phone service by Virgin media.
My phone sockets label is nynex (very early cable provider) and i am happy with all the cableing in my house.
What i want to know is that if i want to go to BT can BT use the existing cables and socket to connect BT services?

They may be able to use any extentions, but they will install their own Master socket

And that will cost £125!

I would keep Virgin phone if I was you,if you've been with them for so long they offer good deals through retentions.
