Hi everybody, new person here!

I seem to have an increasing number of devices connecting to my wireless router (2 desktops pcs, 2 playstation 3s and a laptop!). I've decided that I need to upgrade my broadband package from M to L as when all of them are on and using the internet the connection is very poor. 2meg being shared between 5 isn't very speedy!

I just have 1 simple question before I make the phone call. I have the old ntl branded ambit 200 modem, which the virgin website says is capable of handling the 10meg connection. Does this mean that virgin will simple up my connection remotely with no changes to be done, or am I going to require extra installation etc?

Thank you,

Dan

If you are upgrading from M to L remember to ask them for your free wireless router.;)

The website seems to say that the wireless router is not free to existing broadband customers?

If they ask you to agree to a 'new' 12 month contract then surely you are a 'new' customer.

The free wireless router is only avaiable to new customer taking L or XL broadband but some agents will still do it
