I am intrested to know when this will be launched http://www.screendigest.com/online_services/intelligence/mobile/updates/mi-22-08-2008-RR-1/view.html
Be intresting if Virgin media and mobile customers can get it cheap as part of complete packages. Could also be the first provider to offer phone,tv,broadband, mobile and mobile broadband. wonder if 5 for £50 :)

Hi Guys.....

I got a 3 mobile broadband stick as a present and I get the following....

750K Down
250K UP
130 Ping

Is that good??????

I can browse BBCI Player and all sorts of stuff but the connection tends to pause for ages at random intervals which can be quite annoying.:(

I personally think when mobile broadband really takes off it will do to residential broadband what the mobile did to the land-line.... what do you guys think????

I dont honestly think that mobile Broadband will ever be as good as fixed broadband, down to the very nature of the (wireless) beast, latencies are always going to be high and download speeds always variable.

Your probably right about residential always being superior Graham but like ive said give it 2/3 years and I think the Mobile broadband service will have been dramatically improved especially when HSPA+ & 4G make an appearance... hopefully there will be ping's of below 50 and great download speeds....

My CABLE connection isn't going anywhere soon but I think mobile broadband has the potential to do great things. (especially if you don't want to fork out for a BT-line... obviously that doesn't apply to cable LOL)

I doubt if i will get one if Virgin charging £15 even if you got a package. Vodafone are the fastest at the moment i believe, they have one for £15 or £25 for a faster one.
