PS3 firmware 2.42 available

As the title says!

"Just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that a PS3 firmware update (v2.42) is now available for download. This update improves the playback quality of some PLAYSTATION 3 and PlayStation format software."


People are reporting that this update also speeds up the loading of the Trophy screen.

Thanks for the update m8. My guess is this will also be to do with BC for some older games as I know there readying some more for the PSN :)
