Best thing to do is call Tech Support so they can check out your connection.

Tech Support is open 24/7 on the numbers below.

For help with your TV or Phone and for Broadband Technical Support:

Call Product Support/Faults on 151 from your Virgin Media Phone. It's absolutely free.

Or call 0845 454 1111 from any other phone line.

i rang tech support and went through the usual boot disconnect router plug directly into the modem which didnt make any difference, then i was told to drop into safe mode with networking enabled, unfortunatly i had a phone call and had to rush out i told the guy on the other end and he said that i need to try this as he thought i had some sort of software blocking me from browsing the net, i told him that i had no software firewalls etc running but still he said i need to do this.

so i have just done it and it made no difference, still taking ages to open webpages if they dont time out, its just took me the best part of 30mins to get to this point again...

i did decide to run a trace route tho, not sure if its any help..
