The receive level is a bit low and could cause problems. It should be as near to 0 as possible. If you're having problems get a tech out to change the signal levels. If you're not having problems, don't worry about it.

Its very rare that I can download at the speeds stated,so what do you all think???.Do I need to have my modem looked at????

Download 2 or 3 files together then add up the speeds.
I downloaded 3 game demos at the same time. Each download fluctuated between the following...
DL1 780-830
DL2 700-850
DL3 800-860
Does this help?.

Your downstream power level is fine for a EX-Telewest connection as it should be between -12 and +12 so no Tech required.;)
Those 3 downloads added together is around 2.5Mb multiply that by 8 gets you 20Mb approx.

Should 'ave gone to specs savers

The thing you need to remember most is that the speed of your connection is not going to always be the speed you dowm load at. When you download from a site there could be hundreds or even thousands of others doing the same thing at the same time from the same site.
It's a bit like the M25, legally you can travel at 70MPH but in rush hour you wouldn't have a hope of getting any where near that speed on most of it!
