Hey guys and girls!
Hoping you can help with some advice and some personal experiences.
Ive been offered a package of XL TV, XL phone and XL broadband for £56.00 currently im on the 3 for £30, its tempting to me due to the free all day calls from the XL phone and massive 20mb broadband. My question to you guys is do you get 20mb or anything near it? and do you think this is a good offer?

Id appreciate your thoughts and opinions and experiences.
Thanks

I think it very much depends on exactly where you are.

Click on the Connection link at the top of the page & post the Host details, blanking out your customer number.

I'm sure some people in the same area will be able to tell you what speeds they're getting...

Im in the Staffordshire area near Stoke.
I guess 20mb is still a dream almost everywhere

If you post the Host details as suggested, that will narrow it down to a specific UBR. Speeds can vary widely depending on your exact connection...

Go to the top of this page and look for the word connection and click on it and you will see something similar to this below

just leave your IP address of the beginning.

I am on 20Mb and I do not have any major problems regards speed.

I get 20Mb most of the time. The limit is usually outside VM's network.

It doesn't matter if you have 1Gb BB if the server you are connecting to is on a 64kb ISDN line.
