I like to keep an eye on my customers, and noticed this host :
77-97-39-233.cable.ubr01.dunb.blueyonder.co.uk
I have already visited the UBR listing at :
http://help2.virginmedia.com/help/getContent.jspx?page=h_internet_advanced_dns
dunb is not listed
So I contacted VM, inlcuding the link to the UBR listing, asking if they could advise me where this UBR is in the UK?
The reply apologised that I was unable to see some websites and asked me to perform some checks?!?
I then replied I wasn't having a problem viewing websites, the point was that this UBR is not listed on THEIR website
However, a similar reply has come back!
Does anyone know which UBR this is?
you've asked the same sort of question before, see here: http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/12/33628935-what-area-am-i-in.html
posts 5, 6 and 7.

Once again I will give you the same answer as last time.
Dumbarton, Uddingston on the Knowsley Platform.

Have a look at the bottom of the page "Date last updated: 21st April 2004 "
My area has never been listed at all.

That is the Telewest platform only no NTL listed on it.

I'm in a Telewest area, but my area has never been added.

Cheers, didn't notice the replies to my original question
I already have a customer from Dumbarton and theirs UBR is dumb
Could it be there are two for Dumbarton?
I assume Dunbar doesn't have TeleWest?

You answered your own question Dunbar does not have a M in it.

I know dumb is Dumbarton, as that is listed and I alerady know that customers IP address
The problem is dunb as that is not listed, and I was wondering if that might be Dunbar
I have however noticed that there may be two UBR covering Dunbartonshire, with dunb being the former NTL one for Milngavie and Bearsden
