Don't belive virginmedia traffic management

ok get this right 4mb customer 2000mb can be downlaod between the hours of 1000 to 1500 10 till 3 i downloaed roughly about 1.5 gb to be on the safe side i then stopped and waited for the 1 hour gap between 3 and 4 downloaded about 456 mb of data and bam capped in this 1 hour gap? does the traffic management roll over? i ahve no idea but virgin need to tell us the bleeping truth

As far as I'm aware there is a gap of 1 hour.

Why don't you post in vm.support and ask them directly
I'd say pm me your modem mac and i'd check but as i havent been verified as staff that's prolly not the way to go.

Best you could do is check with the techs on the newsgroups and there has been porblem with stm starting early

Yeah but tbh i shouldn't need to do this they should just make sure its right its not my problem to go around asking if i have been capped tbh i actually like the system cause it saves my gaming at night times but when u actually know you haven't gone over the limites stated on their website it ****es me off

Well this only works of you use certain software I believe.For some us who purchase software online some of these sites won't allow us to use any accelerators or downloading software at all so we have to be at our PC to manually download..:(

Mine average 17ms so yours are very good. I'm on 20mb and today I haven't downloaded anything.
